That Shocked Look

A few minutes before I took this photo, a swarm of naked cyclists leisurely biked around Granville Island, to the shock of everyone.

The last one in the swarm of too much skin, was an old, old man. Oh dear Vancouver. Haha.

But what can I say, you’re #4 in the list of The 2008 World’s Best Places to Live.

130 photos from our trip. Most were taken from the Out Of Africa Wildlife Park, which we thoroughly enjoyed last Saturday afternoon. I love them tigers and was thrilled when we were just in time for the Tiger Splash. They played with the tigers and made them jump into a swimming pool. So fun! The animals seem to love living there in the huge expanse of the park. It makes me sad when animals look sickly and depressed. But they sure are happy and spoiled in this desert oasis in Sedona.

Busy Weekend

We hit some balls, went to the mall, tried a new restaurant, drove to downtown Phoenix to see the exhibit, “Masterpiece Replayed: Monet, Matisse & More“, and had dinner with the family. And we finally found and bought a Wii, too!

No photography was allowed at the Masterpiece exhibit, but according to the desk clerk we’re allowed to take pictures elsewhere (until some other person said we’re not…I guess they can’t make up their mind):

We absolutely enjoyed this timed (one-hour) exhibition, which included an interactive audio guide. I’ve been to numerous art exhibits at the Vancouver Art Gallery but I’ve never had the latter. I really loved it. We will come back for more exhibits for sure.

If you’re in the Valley, go check it out! The exhibit is worth more than the $20 you’ll pay for. :-)

My only wish is that they have exhibit-specific souvenirs, such as postcards. I would have loved that!
