Gourmet Closes

One of the few food magazines that I actually read is closing. I love that’s it’s not all about recipes, that I read travel stories, about people, about other aspects of food.

I got goosebumps and an overwhelming sadness over this.

Ya, it seems that a lot of magazines have been closing their doors lately. There are at least 2 or 3 that I’ve subscribed to over the last couple of years that have gone under recently.

I know. This one stings more than the others because I really look forward to getting my Gourmet every month. I’m just hoping The New Yorker doesn’t go the same route. I’m already feeling a void.
