Going back to Writing

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I’m trying to get back to regular writing. I miss it a lot. Writing on a daily basis requires discipline and a different state of focused mind, something that I didn’t have the past month. It has been downright awful. I’ve been so sick for a month and sick of all the wedding drama. It’s OUR wedding and WE’re paying for it, so I don’t know why people think it’s OK to voice their antagonistic opinions and act as if it’s their wedding. Really. Enough of this…I’m done! Instead of holding on to the money I’ve saved so far, I said “F*ck it, we’re going on a vacation!” So yes, we’re going to Hawaii in a few weeks! Yup! Just enjoy life.

I’m still here in Vancouver. It’s been a nice summer here and somehow it feels like I was meant to be here at this time. I met new friends and was able to help old friends, too. I’m thankful to be around such good people who think and live life like I do. We don’t go around dumping crap to other people. We just try to be the best people, best friends, best family member we can be. I don’t understand how people can live otherwise.

Anyway…here I am. I’m going to commit to writing here regularly. Back to the usual programming eh?

  1. It is nice to see you writing again. It’s been pretty quiet around your blogs lately. Yeah that was my experience with the wedding too. I have a theory that everyone goes temporarily nuts (family especially) as soon as the word ‘wedding’ gets uttered. It got so bad a week before the wedding that my mom threatened not to come - but she did calm down eventually. Don’t stress too much :) these things always work out in the end! Your wedding day will be just fine.
