a weekend that felt longer than it was

Could it have been caused by the energy in Sedona that mystics, psychics and healers have believed for hundreds of years?

Sedona

I’m not so sure I could attribute it to that as much as the great company we had. It was D’s first business trip, so to speak, and the spouses and girlfriends were invited as well, free of charge Who can resist such an offer? Everyone was in a good mood and they are all nice. It almost felt like a big fat greek wedding event, except that no one was to be married, and we are not a family. But it was a total riot of fun. D is lucky to be in such a great company and in good company. I almost felt like I worked there because we talked, laughed, and joked around like it was the old times. We had a lot of fun. Food at the restaurants we went to were phenomenal as well.

Yesterday was D’s bro-in-law’s party. It was nice to see the whole family again. It feels like we haven’t seen them in a long time because we weren’t in town for the usual Friday chips and margarita. Weird, huh? They had guitar hero there and I tried it. I can see how very addicting it could be! I’m just so glad we are not addicted to our Wii. Or we could just be getting older. Haha.

More pictures to come later. I’m uploading the original sizes and it’s taking forever.

How was your weekend?

  1. Sedona is one of my favorite places. I could never tire of seeing those beautiful red rocks.

  2. I know what you mean. It’s our second time there and I think you’d actually need a week to appreciate the place. Overnight stay is definitely not enough.
