Busy Weekend

We hit some balls, went to the mall, tried a new restaurant, drove to downtown Phoenix to see the exhibit, “Masterpiece Replayed: Monet, Matisse & More“, and had dinner with the family. And we finally found and bought a Wii, too!

No photography was allowed at the Masterpiece exhibit, but according to the desk clerk we’re allowed to take pictures elsewhere (until some other person said we’re not…I guess they can’t make up their mind):

We absolutely enjoyed this timed (one-hour) exhibition, which included an interactive audio guide. I’ve been to numerous art exhibits at the Vancouver Art Gallery but I’ve never had the latter. I really loved it. We will come back for more exhibits for sure.

If you’re in the Valley, go check it out! The exhibit is worth more than the $20 you’ll pay for. :-)

My only wish is that they have exhibit-specific souvenirs, such as postcards. I would have loved that!
