Super Bowl party contributions

In case you missed them, Danny and I prepared these for the Super Bowl “Portillo” party at his parents:

Red Velvet Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting

Spinach and Artichoke Dip

The interesting thing is, we left with MORE food than we brought. There was more food than all 15 people could handle. Crazy! And the best part was the Portillo hotdogs, buns, and all the fixings all the way from Chicago. Yummy…I’m drooling just thinking about it. :-) If you try them, let me know if you like ‘em!

Anyway, if you want the recipe for the dip, it’s here. The cupcakes are from a Sprinkles cupcake mix kit that you can purchase from Williams-Sonoma, but I posted the cream cheese frosting recipe here.
